Target Competition takes the Italian championship title

In addition to Nicola Baldan with 307 points, Antti Buri was also able to take the title in third place (3 points). Between the two was Salvatore Tavano with 286 points, behind Buri Kevin Ceccon (295 points) and Eric Brigliadori (285 points) had title dreams. All of this promised an extremely exciting weekend. Qualifying on Saturday went excellently for Anti Buri, with pole position he scored 10 valuable points. Nicola Baldan was not completely satisfied with P5. Nicola Baldan had to struggle with his 60kg additional weight, but was still able to save his 5th place from qualifying to the finish. The direct opponents Tavano and Ceccon ended up in P3 and P4. Everything was set for a dramatic final race. Suspense until the end This was supposed to be a race in which Antti Buri was the championship leader at times, but sometimes Kevin Ceccon was too. Nothing was decided until the last lap, only when Buri overtook Imberti, who was in second place at the time, and crossed the finish line behind the day's winner Kevin Ceccon, did it become clear that he had won the championship title with a 2 point lead over Kevin Ceccon . Nicola Baldan was no longer able to intervene in the championship fight. On the first lap he was pushed into the gravel trap by a competitor. He had to finish the race with a defective vehicle. However, Target Competition not only triumphed in the drivers' championship, the overall victory in the team championship was also secured this weekend.
