Trial Dreivenetien run in Aldein a complete success

The event, in which more than 80 pilots took part, was a complete success. The race was organized by the Trial Team South Tyrol for the second time after the premiere in 2019. The drivers in the adult class had to drive through eight control zones three times, the juniors and mini-trial drivers only had to drive through five zones, but they also had to complete these three times. 41 local athletes took part in Aldein, 13 of them made it onto the podium. The South Tyroleans particularly dominated the TR4 class: Marian Messner from TT Südtirol came out ahead of his teammates Gregor Kerschbaumer and Lukas Thaler. Right behind them were three other local pilots: Felix Franzelin, Fabian Thaler and Fabian Geiser. Jonas Giordani, also from TT Südtirol, won the TR5 category, ahead of Umberto Ravazzolo and teammate Benjamin Spögler. Laia Pichler from Aldein was at the top of the Minitrial Open class, just like Marc Laimer (Minitrial C). Among the mini-trial riders, Emma Cressotti (Mono) from Motoclub Neumarkt also made it onto the podium in second place. In the electric trials, Nathan Pichler (he was the only one to complete a complete 0-penalty point race) had the upper hand ahead of Teresa Messner. Successes upon successes Simon Taferner from TT Südtirol took silver in the TR3 Open category, bronze went to his teammate Patrick Köhl. Christian Pallaoro narrowly missed out on winning the day in the Vintage category. The figurehead from the Neumarkt Motoclub came in second place behind Mattia Zambarda (Valle dei Laghi). South Tyrol's motorcycle president Marco Bolzonello also praised the organizers: “The South Tyrol Trial Team did an excellent job. Trial races arouse great interest in this country. The Covid measures could also be adhered to without any problems,” explains Bolzonello. The Tri Veneto Championship continues in just under two months, on September 12th with the third and penultimate round in Gonars (Udine).

The Winkl Trial Park in Aldein was the mecca for trial riders at the weekend. The second round of the Tri Veneto Championship took place there on Sunday.
