Nine days left until the “Christmas Edition”

On Saturday, December 14, 2013, the time has come: The “South Tyrol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run – Christmas Edition”, an international snowshoe race in the footsteps of the famous mountain run in the Dolomites World Heritage Site, which attracts 1000 athletes from all over the world every September to the Sesto Dolomites, its premiere.

In the Christmas edition of the Three Peaks Run, participants have to cover a nine-kilometer distance and 200 meters of altitude. After starting in Sexten at the Helmbahnen car park, the Christmas Edition takes the snowshoeers to Moos, further into the Fischleintal and across the larch meadows back to the starting point. You only run on cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails. The route will be illuminated with torches, which should give the “Christmas Edition” a very special flair. Already now, a week and a half before the race, everything is ready on the route and Sexten is in winter dress with 30 centimeters of snow.

Registrations are still possible until December 13th

Registration for the snowshoe race “Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run – Christmas Edition” is made in writing using the registration form, which can be downloaded from the website www.dreizinnenlauf.com. It must be sent to the organizers by fax +39 0474 710318 or electronic mail (info@dreizinnenlauf.com). Online registrations will be accepted until December 11th at 20 p.m., after which only on-site registrations will be possible. Participants must be 16 years of age or older.

Attractive racing package

The entry fee is 30 euros (until December 6th) or 40 euros (7th to 13th December). If necessary, snowshoes can be rented on site for a price of five euros. The race package includes a hat from technical sponsor Skinfit, South Tyrolean quality products and Christmas treats. Every participant in the “Christmas Edition 2013” will also receive a voucher worth 10 euros for registering for the 17th South Tyrol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run, which will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2014.

Nine days left until the “Christmas Edition”

The countdown has begun: in nine days the starting signal for the first Christmas edition of the “South Tyrol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run” will be fired in Sexten. The route is ready, there is already 30 cm of snow in Sexten. Registrations run until December 13th.
