The South Tyrolean martial artists win at the Olympic Dream Cup

The competition took place in the park of the Foro Italico, in the setting of the Nicola Pietrangeli Stadium. It is one of the most important tournaments in Italy, in which 385 athletes from all regions of Italy competed for medals. The participation of ASV Taekwondo Terlan Eurotherm was concluded in an extraordinary way. With the participation of 3 athletes, 2 gold medals and one silver medal were won. So the team from Terlan was the one with the greatest success in the regional selection.

For the statistics fans: ASV Taekwondo Terlan fought eleven fights, ten of which were won. 167 points were won and 93 were at the expense of the athletes from Terlan. A big win that motivates the team even further. “It is a great satisfaction because this confirmation on the battlefield of the Foro Italico crowns the journey a large and intensive work. This is, in fact, the victory of the work of a whole team,” commented coach Milan Guba. The medal winners: Nora Adami, juniors, -52 kg, gold medal

Zadra again with bad luck with injuries Alexander Zadra had to admit defeat in the final of the G1 World Cup in Luxembourg to an injury that plagued him throughout the entire competition. The 15-year-old Kurtatscher left the gold medal in the U-17 category to his opponent without a fight. The same fate befell him at the last tournament in Rome, where he clearly put his opponent from Lazio in his place, but was no longer able to fight in the next fight. Alexander will now take the eight-week break as ordered by the doctor and keep fit with alternative sports such as windsurfing, biking and swimming.
