Ciclocross: Eva Lechner wins the Guerciotti Grand Prix

Pursued by Vania Rossi, Lechner gave full throttle right from the start and accelerated to get away from her opponent. Their escape paid off as Rossi focused more on maintaining second place than closing the gap. In the end she prevailed in 47:48 minutes ahead of Rossi and Francesca Cauz. Elena Valentini from Bolzano also competed in the same category. She finished eighth.

Giada Tezzele from GS Südtirol narrowly missed the podium among the students, while Francesca Pisciali from the same club came ninth among the students.
