Eva Lechner shines again from the podium

On December 17th, the versatile cyclist shone with third place at the Cross Country World Cup in Namur, Belgium. Now the woman from Eppan has underlined that it wasn't a flash in the pan: In Heusden-Zolder (Belgium) Lechner flexed her muscles again and ended up in third place again. The woman from Eppan was only beaten by winner Sanne Cant, who has a 113-point lead at the top of the overall standings with two races to go, and runner-up Katherine Compton. It was a hard-fought finale in which Cant was only three seconds ahead of Compton and seven over Lechner.

Jakob Dorigoni, a South Tyrolean, was also in action for the U-23 men. In the end he finished in a good seventh place. The race was won by Briton Thomas Pidcock.

Eva Lechner shines again from the podium
