Giro delle Dolomiti: Corredor and Cortes triumph on the Penser Joch

Cortes further extended her lead in the overall standings. The 35-year-old is now almost ten minutes ahead of second-placed Barbara Zambotti. Agnes Kittel is in first place in the “Giro Breve” classification.

The participants travel 133 kilometers (2482 meters altitude) from Bolzano via Steinegg and Welschnofen to the Niger Pass, then on to Fiè and Castelrotto, where the time trial on the Panidersattel begins. The journey back to Bolzano takes place via Val Gardena, where the awards ceremony for this year's Giro delle Dolomiti will take place on Friday evening at Waltherplatz from 19 p.m. The week-long cycling event will conclude on Saturday with the Alpecin team time trial along the Wine Route.
