On Sunday morning the starting signal for the 40th edition of the “Giro delle Dolomiti” was given at the trade fair in Bolzano. By next Saturday, 600 amateur cyclists will be fighting thrilling duels on the streets around the state capital. At the start, the athletes had to complete a mountain time trial via Barbian to the Ritten high plateau.
