Italian professional cyclist dies in training accident

A tragic accident occurred on Saturday morning in Filottrano (Ancona). The Italian professional cyclist and 2011 Giro winner, Michele Scarponi, was hit by a truck during training and died at the scene of the accident. The 37-year-old was traveling in South Tyrol this week.
