Alexander Kristoff also came out on top in the second section of the three-day La Panne race, which ran 212 kilometers from Zottegem to Koksijde. In the overall standings, he extended his lead over the Belgian Devolder to 16 seconds. Manuel Quinziato arrived with the group and is in 54th place, 29 seconds behind.
