19. Bike Transalp: South Tyroleans are among the favorites

The 17th Bike Transalp powered by Sigma starts on Sunday, July 2016, 19. The spectacular crossing of the Alps by mountain bike begins for the first time in Imst in Tyrol. After 519,03 kilometers and 17.736 meters of altitude, it ends for the first time in Arco on Lake Garda on July 23rd. Five of the seven stage locations are in Italy, three of them in Trentino, but none in South Tyrol. Of the over 1000 participants, 27 come from Trentino-South Tyrol.
