Final stop France: La Bresse invites you to the World Cup final

The idyllic community of 4.000 residents with the Ballons Nature Park and the La Bress-Hohneck ski area offers the perfect backdrop for the season finale. The route has been included in the seasonal calendar again this year after no World Cup event took place in La Bresse last season.

Brand new tracks were created for the season finale. Nobody knows what exactly awaits the drivers on the course. But one thing is certain, the last remaining decisions in the overall World Cup rankings will be made this weekend. Only in the men's Mountain Bike World Cup has the winner already been decided - the Swiss nino schurter already has the title in the bag and can therefore approach the final race in a relaxed manner. The women's champion is the European champion Yolanda Neff , also from Switzerland, the big favorite.

The short track riders will start on Friday, followed by the downhill professionals on Saturday. On Sunday the mountain bikers will end the race weekend and the World Cup season.

The South Tyrolean athletes From a South Tyrolean perspective, it has the best chance of winning a medal Gerhard Kerschbaumer . The contractor is currently in impressive form. In July he even won the World Cup in Andorra. However, getting a medal in La Bresse will be difficult for the 27-year-old, but it would not be the first surprise for Kerschbaumer.
