Eva Lechner is feeling her way to the top: fifth in the Eliminator competition

The second World Cup stage for mountain bikers opened on Friday with the first cross-country Elminator competition of the season in Cairns, Australia. Eva Lechner from Eppan took fifth place among the women. The victory, however, went to the Swede Alexandra Engen, who prevailed in the grand final ahead of her compatriot Jenny Rissveds and the two Swiss Jolanda Neff and Kathrin Stirnemann.
