Fabian Rabensteiner again on the podium

Fabian Rabensteiner also made it onto the podium in the second World Cup stage for marathon mountain bikers.

After taking victory at the start, Rabensteiner ended up in third place in Ligure on Sunday. With a time of 4:47.26 hours, the Villandro was only beaten by the Colombian Diego Alfonso Arias Cuervo and the Czech Martin Stosek. Jakob Dorigoni from Pfatten ended up in 38th place.

Among the women, Eva Lechner took 6th place with a time of 19:14 hours. The victory went to the German Adelheid Morath (5:55.31).
