Geismayr and Pernsteiner take giant steps towards defending their title
Daniel Geismayr and Hermann Pernsteiner won the sixth and penultimate stage of the Bike Transalp. The two Austrians completed the stage from Trento to Lavarone (49,45 km - 2002 m) in 2:15.51 hours, which was ridden for the first time in history. The two South Tyroleans Viktor Paris and Thomas Piazza finished fifth in the Masters.
