Lisa Rabensteiner narrowly missed out on her second European Championship medal

After three podium places in the World Cup, Lisa Rabensteiner narrowly missed out on the bronze medal in the U23 individual race at the European Championships in St. Wendel on Saturday. The Villandro woman came third yesterday with the Italian relay team. Today she fought for bronze with Helen Grobet for a long time, but was no longer able to keep up in the last few kilometers and had to settle for a thankless fourth place, 18 seconds behind bronze. The title went to the Frenchwoman Pauline Prevot.
