Marathon World Championships 2015 presented in Bolzano

With the call “Celebrate the Hero” the nine-month-long preparation phase for the Marathon World Championships on June 27, 2015 began on Wednesday at Sigmundskron Castle near Bolzano. The winners of the South Tyrol Sellaronda Hero will then also hold the world championship title, which is awarded in the marathon by the UCI World Cycling Association. The South Tyrol Sellaronda Hero has achieved World Cup status after just five editions. 4.015 bikers from 50 nations and five continents will take part in the race.
