Paulissen and Sosna triumph at the 1st Ortler Bike Marathon

The organizers of the Ortler Bike Marathon could hardly have wished for a better premiere. 1700 athletes took part in the first edition of the MTB marathon on Saturday. On the marathon route (90 km, 3.000 meters altitude), the Belgian Roel Paulissen and the Lithuanian Katazina Sosna secured victory at the end, both of whom started for the Torpado Factory Racing Team. Moritz Plaikner and Lorenza Menapace prevailed on the Classic distance.
