South Tyroleans are winning in Nalles

Eva Lechner is always a force to be reckoned with in Nals. She has already won the race 4 times. As usual, the woman from Eppan showed herself strongly and crossed the finish line in third place with a time of 1:35.19 hours. However, she was unable to oppose the outstanding winner and youth world champion Mona Mitterwallner from North Tyrol, who ran away from everyone with a time of 1:33.38 hours. Behind her, Leonie Daubermann from Germany came second, 1.14 minutes behind.

Gerhard Kerschbaumer, on the other hand, could not keep up with the men. In the end, the Verdinger ended up in 5.40th place, 15 minutes behind. Nadir Colledani from Friuli-Venezia Giulia secured victory with a time of 1:31.31 hours ahead of Lombard Giole Bertolini, who came second. The best South Tyrolean was Jakob Dorigoni, who crossed the finish line in 7th place, 3.54 minutes behind. The South American Alan Hatherly, who was touted as the favorite before the race, crossed the finish line in 6th place. Auer wins among the juniors After Sophie Auer landed in 1th place in the first stage of the “Internazionali d'Italia” junior class, she rode to the top on Saturday. With a time of 5 minutes, the Puster woman took victory in Nals with a lead of just 59.07 seconds over the Swiss Anina Hutter. The British Ella Maclean-Howell completed the podium.

Elian Paccagnella from Bolzano celebrated another success in the juniors, finishing in third place, 1.37 minutes behind the winner. Paul Magnier from France was unbeatable with a time of 1:06.46. One and a half minutes behind, the German Lars Gräter landed in second place.

On Saturday the “Sunshine Race” took place in Nals as part of the “Internazionali d'Italia”. South Tyrol's mountain bikers were able to celebrate a victory and two more podium places.
