Cross-country national champions crowned

Two races as part of the Dreiveneto Cup, the racing series for cross-country specialists, took place in South Tyrol at the weekend. In both Schlanders and Bozen, the northern Italians Nadir Colledani and Chiara Teocchi secured the day's victories in the general class. Anna Oberparleiter from Olanger ended up in second place in Schlanders as the best South Tyrolean.

Carmine Del Riccio, who lives in Ritten, celebrated a victory in the Masters category on both days.

At the same time, the South Tyrolean national champions were determined at the race in the Schlanders sports zone. The best South Tyrolean athletes in the respective categories were crowned national champions: Alan Zanolini (U14/Bozen), Marie Aichner (U14/St. Lorenzen), Andrea Dallago (U15/Bozen), Leni Radmüller (U15/Bruneck), Emma Tutzer (U16/Kardaun), Nils Laner (U16/Gais), Luca Dallago (juniors/Bozen), Julia Graf (juniors/Kardaun), Francesca Pisciali (general class women/Bozen), Matteo Faes (general class men/Bozen) , Carmine Del Riccio (Master3/Ritten), Luca Giotto (Master4/Bozen), Paolo Perini (Master5/Laives), Sandro Dallago (Master6/Bozen). Oberparleiter was not considered national champion because she competes for a Trentino team.
