Exceptional talent and celebrity: The “Maratona” impresses again

The celebrated winner of the 32nd Maratona dles Dolomites was Tommaso Elettrico, who won the royal distance over 138 kilometers and 4.230 meters in altitude for the second time in a row. He covered the Dolomite passes Campolongo, Sella, Pordoi, Grödner Joch, Giau and Falzarego/Valparola in 4:38,13 hours and relegated Igor Zanetti and Paolo Castelnovo to second and third place with almost a minute's lead. “I have been dreaming of my second victory since April. Now it's reality and I still can't believe it. This is a big day for me,” explained Elettrico after reaching the finish line.
