Bernal's lead melts – stage victory for Martin

Egan Bernal successfully defended his overall lead at the Giro d'Italia despite a surprising period of weakness and a seventh place finish. The Irishman Dan Martin secured the day's victory on Wednesday as a soloist ahead of the Portuguese Joao Almeida and the British Simon Yates.
