Froome defeated at the start of the Giro – Dumoulin wins in Jerusalem

Top favorite Chris Froome suffered a setback at the start of the 101st Giro d'Italia in Israel. The Brit, who is particularly in the spotlight because of the affair surrounding positive doping tests at the 2017 Vuelta, only came 9,7st in the 21 km individual time trial in Jerusalem.
