Prize money: This is how much the tour winner receives

As in the previous year, the winner of the 106th Tour de France (July 6th to 28th) can look forward to prize money of exactly half a million euros. A stage win brings in 11.000 euros. Each driver who completes the three-week tour will receive at least 1000 euros.

The winners of the special classifications (points/green, mountain/dotted) receive 25.000 euros, the best young professional (January 1, 1994 and younger/white) as well as the most combative driver receive 20.000 euros. Victory in the team rankings will reward you with 50.000 euros; every day in the yellow jersey will be rewarded with 500 euros.

Team ranking: 1st place 50.000 euros, 2nd 30.000, 3rd 20.000, 4th 12.000, 5th 8000 euros

Best team of the day: 2800 Euros

Special prices: Souvenir Jacques Goddet (14th stage on the Tourmalet), souvenir Henri Desgrange (19th stage on the Iseran): 5000 euros
