Trentino cycling star is on cloud nine

At just 21 years old, Letizia Paternoster is one of Italy's great cycling hopes. The young Trentino native, who grew up in Revó am Nonsberg and has been living in Riva del Garda for over a year, has already won a lot in her career - including the U23 European road championship title. This is one of the reasons why many experts believe it has a great future. Paternoster not only attracts attention on the bike, but also causes a sensation off the track. Her appearance resembles that of a model; over 175.000 users follow her on Instagram and the pictures are liked tens of thousands of times. Of course, a photo with your new friend causes a stir. A few days ago she posted it in a story on social media and was overwhelmed by the response. “I thought I would just post a photo of us, like normal people do. But after that all hell broke loose, I got numerous reactions,” says Paternoster. Volleyball player and Temptation Island star Her boyfriend is Alessandro Graziani, who plays professional volleyball in Italy's third division. However, he gained notoriety because of his being an athlete, but because of various television appearances. Among other things, Graziani took part in an episode of the reality show Temptation Island - a program in which several couples move to a paradisiacal island, but live separately there and have to resist temptation - surrounded by numerous singles. “We knew each other by sight and then started writing to each other on social media. When Alessandro came to Trentino, something clicked straight away,” reveals Paternoster Journal of Sport . “It's the first time that I'm so in love,” says the Trentino native, who is currently spending a vacation with her new boyfriend near Meran. Paternoster wants to get back into sport soon: she has healed from inflammation in her knee, and the 21-year-old is now back in full training and can hardly wait to get back into competition.
