Tour Transalp: No South Tyrolean podium finish at the start
The first stage of the Tour Transalp 2015 took more than 1000 cyclists from Sonthofen in Bavaria over 121,20 km and 2430 meters to Imst in Tyrol on Sunday. The South Tyrolean participants performed bravely, but clearly missed the podium places in the respective categories. The second stage of the Alpine crossing by racing bike leads on Monday from Imst over 135,32 km and 3282 meters in altitude to Davos in Switzerland.
