Vuelta: De Marchi celebrates first win of the season, Quinziato defeated

Alessandro De Marchi from Friuli won the 7th stage of the Vuelta. De Marchi, who competes for the Cannondale team, broke away with 13 km to go and celebrated his first win of the season. The Spaniard Alejandro Valverde remains at the top of the overall standings, while the Bolzano-based Manuel Quinziato from the BMC Racing Team only finished 74th today.
