The home team sets the tone in Meran

The Great Hunting Race of Europe ended with a double victory by Notti Magiche (J. Faltejsek) and L'Estran (J. Bartos) for the home team. The two fought a tough duel on the home straight, which was ultimately won by last year's winner Notti Magiche. Third place went to Al Bustan. The four-year-old criterion also ended with a double victory for the Aichner racing team. With his usual strong finish, the gelding from Christian Troger's racing team set himself apart from the competition and ultimately won safely ahead of Singapore Rose (J. Bartos) and Belle Rousse (D. Pastuszka).
