Huge success for Elena Kompatscher

The 26-year-old Elena Kompatscher from Welschnofner can now call herself the Derby winner in reining, which is considered the supreme discipline of western riding. In Cremona she won one of the most important reining competitions in Italy and celebrated the greatest success of her riding career to date. The last South Tyrolean Derby winner was Martin Gamper in 2006.
