Target Sprint is very similar to biathlon and consists of 3 laps of 400 meters, which are interrupted by 2 shooting bouts. Five folding targets with a diameter of 5 millimeters are targeted with the air rifle at a distance of 35 m.

In the youngest category (student category), Daniel Gruber (Sportschützen Auer) prevailed in an exciting competition with a total time of 5.27,71:XNUMX minutes, relegating Elena Ammirati (Treviso) and Tommaso Roberto (Candela) to the places.

In the junior women's competition, Sylvia Varesco (sports shooter Auer) started somewhat weakened due to illness. After a strong first round of running, Sylvia had to let the favorite Chiara Piazza (Ravenna) go, but she continued to fight courageously and ultimately secured the silver medal with a time of 6.02,80:XNUMX minutes.

At the end of the title fights, the men started. The top favorite Georg Unterpertinger and Claudio Vendemiati (both sports shooters Auer) will also be there. After a very fast first lap, Georg Unterpertinger came to the first shooting in second place. There he was able to show off his accuracy as usual and go into the second round in first place, closely followed by the strong runner Lorenzo Chiocchetti (Lucca). In the decisive second shooting session, Unterpertinger was able to go into the final round first again despite two missed shots - with a narrow lead of 50m over Chiocchetti. This narrow lead was ultimately enough to bring the men's title to Auer.
