Dahlmeier on the future: “Everything is possible”

Pyeongchang (SID) Double Olympic champion Laura Dahlmeier (Partenkirchen) left the continuation of her career open after completing the biathlon competitions at the Winter Games in Pyeongchang. "Everything is possible," the 24-year-old told the SID on Friday when asked, "so far there has been too little time to think about it carefully." With her successes in the sprint and pursuit, Dahlmeier put a tick behind the last remaining sporting goals. Last year she had already won the overall World Cup and shone with five titles and a silver medal at the World Championships in Hochfilzen. The Bavarian wants to "gather strength" for the remainder of the season. The time in South Korea was certainly very strenuous, but it is important to focus again on the World Cups. In March the biathletes will be competing in Kontiolahti, Oslo and Tyumen.
