South Tyrolean Sporthilfe is distributing almost 93.000 euros in funding

South Tyrol's young athletes are causing a sensation not only at the local level, but also on the international stage. This is also possible because South Tyrolean Sporthilfe provides financial support to these talented people. On Tuesday evening, 127 winter sports enthusiasts were presented with funding checks totaling 92.900 in the Sixtuskeller of the FORST specialty beer brewery. In addition, the contract with the host, one of Sporthilfe's most important and long-standing premium partners, was immediately extended for another two years. The guests of honor at the exclusive event included not only numerous local talents, but also representatives from politics, business and top sports. For example, State Councilor Arnold Schuler, host Cellina von Mannstein from the FORST specialty beer brewery, the former World Cup ski racer Peter Fill and the President of the South Tyrolean Sporthilfe, Giovanni Podini, took the floor and congratulated the young South Tyrolean athletes. After the distribution of the Sporthilfe shirts, the successful evening began with a tour of the brewery, where everyone present received an insight into the production skills of Sporthilfe's long-standing premium partner. “You athletes have a great importance, not only in South Tyrol, but also in our company,” emphasized Cellina von Mannstein and proudly announced: “That is why it is a great pleasure for us that we have renewed the contract with Südtiroler Sporthilfe will be extended for another two years.” Immediately after handing over the check, von Mannstein put her words into action and, together with Giovanni Podini, a new two-year contract was signed, which seals the extension of the premium partnership. Because 90 percent of all South Tyrolean athletes who have celebrated international success were supported by South Tyrolean Sporthilfe. This is important to us,” emphasized Podini in front of the young talents. Afterwards, Cellina von Mannstein and Peter Fill took the stage to talk about their collaboration and to give the young athletes information about the homogeneous collaboration between sponsor and athlete. “A give and a take,” the two called it. One statement by Fill in particular surprised the young athletes who were listening attentively. “Forst didn't come to me, I came to them. I associated myself with the brand, offered myself and made it clear to them that I was the right athlete for sponsorship,” explained the two-time downhill World Cup winner. This resulted in a professional collaboration that was characterized by great success. “Dare to take the first step yourself. “It doesn’t happen so quickly that sponsors come to you,” the two-time World Cup medalist told the youngsters. The highlight of the evening was the ceremonial check presentation, at which 39 athletes from the high school center in Mals were rewarded with checks worth 28.100 euros. 13.100 euros come from the South Tyrolean Sporthilfe's funding, and the Sparkasse Foundation also decided to sponsor it and provided around 15.000 euros, which were presented by foundation representative Ingrid Hofer. 64.800 euros for South Tyrol's winter sports talent After the appreciation for the Mals high school students, it was the turn of South Tyrol's winter sports aces. There were 88 people who received funding checks of varying sizes from South Tyrolean Sports Aid so that they could continue to concentrate on their sports careers in the future without financial worries. If you add up all the contributions, you get the proud amount of 64.800 euros, which went to the young skiers, tobogganers, biathletes & Co. Finally, President Giovanni Podini thanked all the athletes present, guests of honor, sponsors and host Cellina von Mannstein. Over a cozy drink, the athletes were able to exchange a few words among themselves and had the opportunity to discover FORST 0,0 for themselves, which is perfectly tailored to the needs of naturally athletic athletes.
