Our columnist Sigi Heinrich tried, without naming names, to put the political disputes into a sporting context. And a lot of it is meant seriously. It's clear. You need a lot of perseverance if you want to achieve the goals you have set for yourself at some point. There are also a lot of stumbling blocks on the way, hurdles have to be jumped over and expectations have to be fulfilled as much as possible. And then there are uncomfortable opponents who are hard to predict and who dig deep into their verbal bag of tricks. That's why nothing can be planned, despite intensive preparation in many meetings, which are accompanied by strategy papers. But which tactics should you choose as a politician who wants to win in the end? For himself, for his party. Maybe even for the citizens of the country in which he is running, because I always thought that it was all about us. To stabilize society in these difficult times, to secure our prosperity and so much more that defines our lives. And then finally the first big three-way fight takes place, which is called “Triell” in modern German. And then the sporting register is unpacked. From attack mode it goes to flexible defense. The attempt at a counterattack is noticeable, while the tie remains neatly in the middle position during all actions. A cross-gender fight It's a cross-gender fight, the woman is in the grip of two older men who are similar in all their attempts to finally score a goal. The fans try to figure out who is more statesmanlike. How do you say this to the woman in the game? Is that also possible in a statesmanlike manner? Difficult. In the end there is no decision because everything is just preliminary banter. The actual match doesn't take place for four weeks. Until then, new topics will be in focus again, which will have to be supported with new theses and which each team will approach differently, knowing full well that at the end of all the efforts, which are expressed in percentage points, nothing will arrive in reality as we were promised . Because it can be that two people who sometimes get the chance to fight each other will end up being welded together to form a team. This is called a coalition and means nothing more or less than the high school of compromise, as the previous chairwoman celebrated perfectly for 16 years. This didn't necessarily lead to a complete overhaul of the team, but survival was assured. Anyway. Of course, renewal works differently. It's always a question of formation and positions. In football it is often said that games are decided on the outside. With great crosses that are then used in the middle. But even the word winger is not well received, which is also due to the fact that the possible teammates from both the left and the right simply don't fit into the team. They cannot be integrated, stubbornly stick to their positions and are therefore even a danger to the structure of the team. So the participants in the three-way fight primarily aim for the middle. In another match in another stadium, one of the participants even spoke of the fear of a shift to the left. Whatever it might look like. The terminology is influenced by the fear of suddenly being replaced. The substitute bench threatens, of all people, the players from the team that has previously set the tone. Suddenly, out of sheer nervousness, the ball often bounces off his foot and opening passes fail. You are already pushed far away from the penalty area, the so-called box. The opponents have mastered modern pressing. The flow of the game is gone. Some people prefer to run away and rush out into the world after blatant failures in the preparation of a serious crisis have come to light. Five countries will be visited in four days. Or the other way around. Does not matter. The main thing is to get away from the infighting, from the duels in the three-fights, in the hope that you can regain your previous position in the new season. This is called ducking or exaggerated actionism, born out of sheer desperation over one's own failure. Influence the team formation yourself After all, we will soon be able to influence the team formation and also the direction of the team, and we should really take advantage of this. However, it is really not easy to get an idea of the qualifications of the future players, because in many cases, even mainly, those in the team are currently those who have the best connection to the coaches and of course to those at the top believe that I can set the overall direction. Expertise is obviously not necessary in this industry. Relationships are important. Unfortunately, before we cast our vote to fill the new team, we do not receive any detailed and honest personnel forms from which we could draw our conclusions. We have to focus mainly on the words that will continue to fly from one half of the game to the other in the next few weeks. This is not easy and has sometimes gone terribly wrong.
