Curling: Youth national champions crowned in the team game

SV Mölten (U23/U19), ESV Terlan (U16) and the EV Niederdorf/SC Welsberg/SC St. Georgen (U14) syndicate secured the national curling championship title in the team game on Sunday in the Kaltern ice arena.

After winning the national championship and Italian championship on asphalt in the summer, ESV Terlan also won the national championship title in the team game on ice for the first time in the U16. The Etschtaler won all 7 games. After 5 wins in the preliminary round and the narrow 11:9 win in the semi-final against Pichl Gsies, they were able to clearly prevail in the final against Lana with 25:3.

The girls from EV Niederdorf won the game for third place against Pichl Gsies 3:11. SV Mölten won the title in the U9/U23, ahead of EV Lana and the ESC Luttach/SV St. Lorenzen syndicate, while in the U19 the EV Niederdorf/SC Welsberg/SC St. Georgen syndicate won.
