Canada stopped - gold for the US women's ice hockey

Defeated their arch-rival and won the Olympic women's ice hockey tournament for the first time in 20 years: The USA team beat record Olympic champion Canada 3:2 (1:0, 0:2, 1:0, 0:0, 1:0). Penalty shootout and thus inflicted another defeat on the “Maple Leaves” after 24 Olympic games without defeat.
