Laureus Awards: Hamilton and Messi named best athletes

Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton and world football star Lionel Messi were jointly awarded the Laureus as Sportsman of the Year. The Argentine from FC Barcelona and the British Mercedes driver received the same number of votes in the election for the 20th Laureus World Sports Awards in Berlin.
