After scandal in Tokyo: Pentathlon removed from the program

After the scandal at the Summer Games in Tokyo, the modern pentathletes still have to worry about their place at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Because of the still unclear questions about a replacement for riding as a sub-discipline, the International Olympic Committee did not include the pentathlon in the provisional program for the summer games after next on Thursday.
