Ötzi Alpine Marathon this year on Saturday

The Ötzi Alpine Marathon is celebrating its eighth edition this year. For the first time, the well-known South Tyrolean extreme marathon will take place on a Saturday. The date is April 30, 2011. The organizers justify the move forward with the possibility of postponing the competition to Sunday in case of bad weather. The unique event is the highlight of the season for many participants.
