Tokyo organizers are sticking to plans

Despite great skepticism among the population, the organizers of Tokyo have once again emphasized that the Olympic Games should go ahead as planned in the summer. The president of the organizing committee, Toshiro Muto, also described media reports from Japan that next month the International Olympic Committee (IOC) would discuss with the organizers about a possible cancellation of the games as “fake news”.
