Great campaign: Sporthilfe wants to boost the restart

The campaign initiated by Südtiroler Sporthilfe is intended to send a strong signal for the new start and at the same time be a thank you for the heroes who worked in hospitals and emergency rooms during the Corona crisis and for the families. They have all made a decisive contribution to ensuring that all of South Tyrol can now build on a secure present and a hopeful future. A future that the SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN should also make possible for the promising young athletes in the province of Bolzano thanks to the donations collected. How? Through active sport! Running, walking or cycling When running, walking or biking, whether alone, with a team or with the family. Everyone at their own rhythm and on their own personal favorite routes. But all with one common goal: that everyone together reach the total distance of 100.000 kilometers.

This is the SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN campaign, which connects all South Tyroleans who want to collect kilometers in the week from June 27th to July 5th - using the free HEROES RUN app, which is available for iOS and Android smartphones. The starting shot will be given on Saturday The campaign was initiated by Südtiroler Sporthilfe, a non-profit association whose purpose is to promote young South Tyrolean athletes. The SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN 2020 also wants to pay tribute to all those heroes who were on the front line during this serious health crisis and who have rendered services to society as a whole.

The SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN 2020 is a new start campaign in the spirit of sport, because sport brings physical and mental well-being to all those who practice it - regardless of whether at amateur or professional level. And for those young people for whom sport is a real philosophy of life and possibly also a career dream, namely the new generation of athletes in South Tyrol, the SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN 2020 is collecting donations.

You can take part in the SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN alone or with family members. Another alternative is individual participation as a member of a sports or company team - of course always observing the distance and safety rules.
