The experts rave about Biles The experts are astonished, the layperson is amazed. “She does things that I never thought people could do,” said 16-year-old Sunisa Lee, who took second place behind the exceptional gymnast in the all-around competition. “It's a huge deal. Nobody has ever done this with women before, and she does it better than most men,” enthused US head coach Tom Forster. With 118,50 points, she won the gold medal after two complete four-way competitions, well ahead of Lee (113,55) and Grace McCallum (111,85). Biles also secured victories on balance beam and vault.

With her performance in Kansas, Biles impressively underlined her position as the World Cup favorite and her ambitions for her fifth all-around title in Stuttgart. So far, the exceptional gymnast has won gold (all-around, team and apparatus) a total of 14 times at the world championships.
