Eight men's and five women's teams in Serie C

For men, the first two teams in groups A and B qualify for the semi-finals on May 3rd. The remaining four teams play to stay in the league, the last one is relegated to the D1 series. The favorites include defending champions TC Bruneck with Simon Berger and Serie B relegated TC Gemeinde Bozen with the experienced Gianluca Gatto. Rungg, Meran (with the German newcomer Marc Herter), St. Georgen and St. Christina-Wolkenstein are also given good chances. Last year, the TC municipality of Bozen won the national championship title for women. The five registered teams all play against each other. Each team plays two games at home and two away, then the new national champions are determined.
