All South Tyroleans were eliminated in the qualification

As expected, the four South Tyroleans who competed with a wild card were eliminated in the first round of qualification for the Sparkasse ATP Challenger Val Gardena South Tyrol without winning a set. After Erwin Tröbinger from Wolkenstein, his teammates Jons Ciechi, Patric Prinoth and Michael Kerschbaumer were also hit.
