Andreas Seppi brings Ferrer to the brink of defeat
Andreas Seppi lost to David Ferrer seven times in his professional career and never won a single set in all of these duels. In the second round of the ATP tournament at Rothenbaum in Hamburg, worth 1.190.700 euros, on Thursday it was almost enough for the “Azzurro” to win their first victory. Seppi was able to take the first set in the eighth meeting with the 32-year-old Spaniard and was on the verge of putting him in his place. In the end, after a duel at eye level, the 30-year-old from Kalter lost out 3:6, 6:3, 3:6.
