Andreas Seppi and Karin Knapp in constant use

Series A is slowly but surely coming to an end. The semi-finals for men and women will take place this weekend. Andreas Seppi is trying to reach the final with Tennis Bassano, while Karin Knapp wants to achieve this goal with Club Nomentano. By the way, the final will take place in Rovereto from December 6th to 8th.

Bassano has been in the Final Four three times and in the final once, but has never won the title. Winning the title remains a big goal for the club from Veneto. In the semi-finals, Bassano will face TC Crema, who count on the experience of Adrian Ungur in their ranks. Nevertheless, Bassano is the favorite. However, it is questionable whether Paolo Lorenzi will play in a Challenger in Andria. The second semi-final will be played by Circolo Canottieri Aniene (Rome) against Tennis Club Italia (Forte dei Marmi).

Karin Knapp is aiming to defend her title with Nomentano For the women, TC Genova has already qualified for the final in Rovereto. In the second semi-final, TC Prato meets Karin Knapp's club, Nomentano. The reigning champions had easily beaten Prato in the preliminary round, but at that time Prato had only used their reserves. Karin Knapp will play an important role in the semi-finals, whose points are urgently needed. Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing for the “Livorno Tennis Show”, in which the best seven tennis players in Italy will compete against each other. Seppi to the Hopman Cup in Perth

Andreas Seppi is “sliding” into the new year again this year with the Hopman Cup. Together with Flavia Penetta he will take part in this tournament, which is recognized by the ITF but not by the ATP. The Hopman Cup begins the day before New Year's Eve, namely on December 30, 2013. Karin Knapp begins the 2014 tennis year in New Zealand, namely at the WTA tournament in Auckland.
