ATP Challenger in Val Gardena: Ram wins dramatic final

The winner of the second edition of the Challenger tournament in Ortisei is called Rajeev Ram and comes from the USA. The number 172 in the world rankings prevailed in a dramatic final against the Czech Jan Hernych 7:5, 3:6, 7:6 (8:6). The exciting match lasted 2:12 hours. Ram won 100 world ranking points and prize money of 9200 euros. Hernych had to console himself with 60 points and 5400 euros.
