ATP Doha: Seppi fails against Val Gardena winner Ricardas Berankis

After exactly 62 days off because of his hip injury, Andreas Seppi played a singles match on the ATP tour again on Tuesday evening in Doha, Qatar. However, at the “Qatar ExxonMobil Open”, which was endowed with almost 1,2 million dollars, the 31-year-old from Kalteren had to defeat the winner of the Val Gardena Challenger tournament Ricardas Berankis in three sets in the first round with 6:3, 1:6, 4: 6 beaten.
