ATP ranking: Sinner higher than ever before

Sinner gained a whopping 59 places in the world rankings compared to the previous week. As of Monday, the 17-year-old from Sexten is ranked 396th in the world with 135 ATP points. The best-ranked South Tyrolean is Verena Meliss, who has lost 39 places compared to the previous week. This is also due to the fact that there has been a change in the rating system. Seven days ago, the Kalter native was at WTA rank 508, which was also the best result of her career. As of Monday, Meliss is ranked 547th in the WTA.

Curious: Verena Hofer was moved up 9200 places due to the recomposition of the world ranking points, which has been in effect since Monday - even though she has not played an international tournament since May.
