ATP Shenzhen: Seppi shows Bolelli the limits

Two weeks ago, Simone Bolelli was preferred to Andreas Seppi in the Davis Cup semi-final against Switzerland, even though he is almost 30 places behind the Kalterer in the ATP rankings. Historic victory for Seppi This is Seppi's first win ever on the ATP tour against Bolelli. In 2008 he had to admit defeat in Munich with 4:6, 5:7, two years later he gave up at the Challenger in Turin with a score of 4:6, 7:6 (4), 4:1 for Bolelli. In the quarterfinals of the "Shenzhen Open" on Friday, Seppi will face number four seed Tommy Robredo, who was able to eliminate Australian outsider Samuel Groth in three sets. Seppi also had a score to settle against Robredo. In the previous duels, the world number 22. from Spain are ahead with 4:3. He also won the last meeting so far, in the semi-finals in Umag in 2013.

Eliminated in doubles In doubles, however, Seppi was eliminated in the first round with the Australian Matthew Ebden.
