ATP Umag: Andreas Seppi in the semifinals against Tommy Robredo

The 29-year-old from Kaltern, number 2 on the seeding list, benefited from the abandonment of his opponent Horacio Zeballos, as he did the day before against the Austrian Andreas Haider Maurer, with a score of 6:5, 40:0 in the first set. Seppi missed a break point in the second game and two more when the score was 4:3 before he had to give up his serve for nothing in the ninth game. The South American then missed two set points at 5:4. With the score at 6:5 for Seppi, Zeballos called for a “medical time out” and then decided to give up at 0:40.

3:3 the direct duels against Robredo In the semi-finals on Saturday, in the second match after 19 p.m., Seppi will face the Spaniard Tommy Robredo (ATP 28), who defeated the Slovenian Aljaz Bedene in two sets today 6:1, 6:4. Andreas Seppi beat the Argentinian Horacio Zeballos in the quarterfinals on Friday evening at the “Vegeta Croatia Open” in Umag, which offers prize money of 467.800 euros, and reached an ATP semifinal for the 19th time in his career.
